ALPHA 71 WIN BUGS:

After playing a while, i have noticed that RV's cannot find "depots" facing
East and South; OTOH, they can find without any problems depots facing
North and West...

In random map creations, no transmitters are being placed in the
maps, only lighthouses (bug noticed in temperate and artic).

I still have the glitch when i press the "Show the hi-scrore chart" !
I'm sure i'm not the only one... No one presses the show hi-score chart
anymore?!

And now, for a good laugh: forests and plantations with foundations on
slopes! Haha! That one killed me!

10 REM Blame Csaba
20 IF industrie = Forest THEN GOTO 30
30 SET foundation slope = 0
40 PRINT "Cannot remove obstacle on land"

Doh! It's Perl, not Basic! God, i have to learn that!

<DarthDrexler> Come to the dark side!

;)

I still couldn't use a72w, it crashes and crashes and crashes...

I hope my bug reports are worth of something. Keep it guys!

I think this is a genuine TTD bug, not specific to TTDPatch. (BTW, what
do you consider 'north' in TTD? Left up or right up?)

Due to a silly bug in TTD's random map creation procedure, transmitters
can appear only on farmlands. Oh, and they can't appear below certain
altitude (6 levels above sea to be exact), but that's intended. I guess
you've got a modified set of industries with no TTD-style farmlands.

Unfortunately, when I tried to fix it the most obvious way, the map got
littered by tens of transmitters. I haven't yet figured out why it
works right in TTO, after all.

It may also be a bug in the trams code, in that case it's extremely likely
to already be fixed in the latest version.

Right up, like normally, all consider.

I guess I'm not normal then. Have you done statistical analyses on this?

This was my point: different people have different idea of 'north' in
TT-style projection.

In any case, the *real* north in TT is up (yes, diagonally). That's how
default station names work.

Not really...
Now i understand why, in a random creation with industries hi and mountain
map, the engine placed 4 transmitter next to each other in a farmland...

I think Chris Sawyer was aware of that and made that option. That's not
a real problem isn't it? When i want a transmitter, i go to the map editor
and place it... It looks good, since i have the transmiter GRF from Andres.

[random transmitters only in farmlands]

I'm pretty sure he wasn't... this has all the marks of a silly bug.

When you create a random game, you need TTDPatch (or file extension
hack) to be able to load it into the editor. TTD was not supposed to
allow this.
