Another cheat option that could be implemented (if it doesn't burn your
eyebrows out, Herr Drexler), cht: RemoveBuilding (it's quite hard to
progress in the game when a local autority doesn't REALLY
allow by normal ways - the dynamite way!). As I said before, i use
the cht: debug, but if Joseph says that messes up the "internal whathever"
about number of inhabitants...

That's what the bribe option is for. You can always save before trying
to bribe (and if you get caught, reload and try again).

That's what the bribe option is for. You can always save before trying
to bribe (and if you get caught, reload and try again).
Given that just about everyone I know does it this way, is it anything other
than an irritation that the bribe option can result in getting caught? Would
it not just be better to rename it "Pay planning fees" or somesuch and do
away with the getting caught stuff?

Because that would be cheating, just like saving just before a bribe.

Some time ago I suggested an elaborate scheme where there is a big chance
the investigator first threatens to tell the LA. If he does, then you can
bribe the investigator. If that fails, the LA might threaten to tell the
newspaper. This can also be bribed. And investigated. And bribed.
Repeat ad nauseam.

But I think there are more useful features to implement.

Toooo much work and too much "Out of the spirit game". The game is
already aproaching "The Real Life", those introduction would distract the
attencion of the player to other things then making cargo routes - just like
the introduction of shares. Just like any other person, i can't imagine what
the future might bring, but's let's get real: let's get stuck to what can be
done ACTUALLY, always open minded to the future, an please, working on
options that can enhance game features based on cargo routes...

BTW, i think it was awsome to reduce the "time" in TTDX, from days to
hours, and with some awsome work, merge with NightTTD (from 6:00 to
19:00 day, from 19:00 to 6:00 night); that was one of the best aproaches
to "real life" i could think, but it's kind of "nonsensical" for now... I'm
pretty sure that my grandsons will like to play that.
