Another cheat bug

Another bug i found was:

"cht: snowline XX" is invalid, even with snow line on temperate
(on ttdpatch.cfg) + the snowline.grf (found on Mr. Drexler page only
shows artic snow, on temperate), and that is almost so strange
as doing "cht: climate 1".

In newgrf.cfg, newgrf /snowline.grf 10, defines the snow height for
Artic / Alpine, but i think the idea was not that...

Keep it up.

Where did you find this cheat? It's only enabled in debug versions, not
for the alpha releases. But with snowline.grf it's not needed anyway.

It defines the snow height for all climates with snow where it's enabled.
With "tempsnowline on" it works in the temperate climate too.

In a49:
New debug sign cheat "cht: snowline xx" to set the snow line height to xx
(decimal)
new switch: "tempsnowline", currently supports a stationary snow line only,
without snowy trees

BTW, what is the real function of <cht: debugger>? I use it to erase
buildings when local
autorities do not allow... You know... Choose tile nº0, then dynamite the
same tile or some
strange sort of industrie is placed... Odd...

Not really... I have <tempsnowline on> and the snowline.grf enabled on
temperate but all i get is artic snow on temperate. You know, the
earth brown terrain covered with snow ... Not like Alpine climate
that actually shows snow over grass (green)...

2 factions are forming now. Or maybe not, Temperate with snow or alpine?
Well... Alpine is a artic modified only to accept DBsetXL... And temp.
with snow will actually accept every type of vehicles...

The tempsnowline with snowline.grf is just like playing a map with temp.
and making <cht: climate 1> until you save and load...

I have done very funny things in the past changing climates! Even purchasing
an airplain with rotor! (from Toyland) Haha! Very cute to use on heliports!

I have done questionable things, Mr. Drexler... Please do not punish me!

As you'll note, it's a "debug" sign cheat, which means it's only present in
debug versions for developers. Basically, if it's not in the manual, you
can not expect it to work...

It's to open TTD's built-in debugger window. As to the purpose of *that*,
you should probably ask Chris Sawyer. It was probably for testing various
features during development.

That's generally not a good idea, because the game keeps track of number of
buildings and population internally, and if you remove things with the
debugger these numbers get messed up.

Well, there is only one kind of snow in TTD. So unless a grf file provides
different graphics, that's what you'll get. The snowline.grf has no
graphics, it only sets the snowline.

Except Cht: Climate messes up the acceptance of industries, whereas
snowline.grf just sets the snowline.
